Entry Requirements

MEng Requirements

  • Six As and Bs in academic GCSE subjects with mathematics and dual science
  • Grades A*AA in three GCE A-Level subjects with mathematics, with a significant pure element
  • A scientific bias to the GCE A-level subjects
  • One non-mathematics GCE A-level subjects can be replaced with two GCE AS-Level subject, an AVCE (6 unit) subject, or two part-award AVCE (3 unit) subjects

BSc Courses Requirements (except Computer Science and Mathematics)

  • Five As and Bs in academic GCSE subjects with mathematics and dual science
  • Grades AAB in three GCE A-Level subjects with GCE A-level mathematics with a significant pure element (the use of mathematics does not satisfy this requirement)
  • One of the GCE A-level subjects can be replaced with two GCE AS-Level subject OR a AVCE (6 unit) subject OR two part-award AVCE (3 unit) subjects
