Birmingham City University Offers a postgraduate MSc degree in Data Networks and Security with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) curriculum. Students in this programme have exclusive access to an intensive three month course to gain their certificate with Cisco. The Faculty of Technology, Engineering & Environment also houses Cisco Academy Training Center, through which this certification programme is provided.

Entry Requirements
Entry into this program normally requires a Second Class Honours degree or its equal in a field that is relevant to the Data Networks and Security programme. However, prospective student candidates may also be reviewed for the programme if they can prove that they have the adequate combination of skills, experience and education to be successful in the programme of study.
